Before taking a leave of absence for my internship, I took Beginner’s Latin course
And it was great, I enjoyed the class a lot
But all those learning gave me a bad habit I’ve been experiencing…
So, in Latin you’re supposed to give any words that have a v a w sound
For example, via would not be pronounced (vee-a) but (wee-a)
Here’s the problem.
The other day I was talking to this girl who’s named Venessa
Instead of the usual pronunciation, I called her (We-nessa)
I know, I know. This is something so trivial.
But still.
I pronunciation is all ruined
I’m ruined
Until next time…
