Today’s the day before classes start, so I decided to go to the city centre by myself to look at some bookshops.

I passed by The Grimoire Bookshop the first time I went to the city centre, and I’ve been wanting to come back ever since.

It’s hard to find a secondhand bookshop in Seoul (well, to be honest, I’ve never tried looking for one) but I’ve always loved spending hours inside a bookstore looking at the books that are available there. True to the name of the bookshop, there was also a variety of non-traditional books on gore, magic, psychedelia… etc.

While the floors creaked and it honestly felt like the floor would collapse any moment, the piles of books around every corner and the distinctive smell of old books upon entering this place makes this bookshop a truly magical place to be in.
