I thought I’d switch up the scenery and write about somewhere other than the UK.

I’m not finished with my posts on the UK though (I actually still have a lot more contents I need to upload… WAHHH) but I couldn’t drag it on and I wanted to write about somewhere other than the UK so… here it is!

Recently I went to Greece on my own and I visited Athens and Santorini. I honestly didn’t expect much but the food in Greece is absolutely amazing! The souvlaki, gyro, greek salad and greek yogurt with honey and nuts… I was in food heaven and was thoroughly impressed with how affordable the food was.

But Athens as a city… besides the Acropolis, the city overall was frankly very underwhelming. The streets weren’t very clean and the atmosphere didn’t feel very… welcoming? It just didn’t feel like the city had much energy and vibrancy… At least the food felt very comforting!

Here are some photos I took in Athens. Food photos on the very bottom :)
