Ever since I watched Roman Holiday, Angels & Demons, and (hard to admit but) The Lizzy McGuire Movie… I’ve really wanted to visit Rome. And early May I had the opportunity to go there with my friends.

It really is everything I’ve expected… the streets of Rome were the types of streets I imagined what a “European street” would look like, the people were lively and full of charm, and the food… my goodness the food…

I traveled with two of my friends from college and we all thoroughly enjoyed the city. It didn’t feel dangerous at all to walk around at night, and because we went early May, the weather and temperature were tolerable. The rich history of the city along with that of the Vatican City made it such a culturally enriching place to visit.

Here are some photos I took in Rome. Vatican City, Florence, Cinque Terre, and Venice will be featured soon on my blog so stay tuned! Also, food photos will be featured in a new post so stayed tuned for that as well!
