Here’s a scenery that’s completely different from sunny Santorini.

Back in March while I was traveling around the UK, I went to Windermere within the Lake District. It’s a very popular tourist destination. Not much to do besides going on a boat tour but the scenery is gorgeous and worth the trip. There are three different types of boat tours, they all go to different places, and I chose the one that went to Ambleside which is a small town located north of Bowness-on-Windermere.

Here are the photos I took when I was there! I recommend this place for a short day trip. Apparently Windermere is also known to have Peter Rabbit museum, and many Japanese tourists come to this place for Peter Rabbit. The museum didn’t interest me personally so I didn’t go.

Also, I kind of wish I did my UK travel around this time… The Lake District National Park would definitely look more colorful than what is depicted in my photos. But I still think the photos turned out nice! Gives the lake a very mysterious vibe.

AND!!! Windermere was my last stop in England before I headed to Scotland. So that’s it for England (for now) and we’re now headed to the land of kilts!

Please enjoy!
