I went to a small town called Inverness in the Scottish Highland. Originally I wanted to see Loch Ness and the famed landscape, but it turned into more of a relaxing stay there with not much sightseeing. I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay there and got to try out authentic British food.

The Waterfront where I got to try out their famed Steak & Ale Pie. The tender beef was a very nice pairing with the locally brewed beer.

I also tried out Sunday Roast (roasted beef with Yorkshire pudding)

And I tried out Tunnock’s Tea Cakes. Scottish tea cake is like Choco Pie sold in Korea. It’s a layer of biscuit base topped with marshmallow and coated overall with chocolate. I’m not much of a sweets type of person (actually not entirely true) but these were delicious.
