Bantayan Cebu, Philippines
January 11 – 21, 2017
It seems like I haven’t updated my blog in a long while. I’ve been holding off editing and posting rest of my travel photos of Europe because it makes me miss that time so much (and I’ve been busy/lazy).
Anyhow, recently I have had the opportunity to travel to Bantayan Cebu along with 17 other students from my university for volunteer work. We participated in Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building houses. We were assigned to Bantayan Island in the Philippines as part of the areas were severely damaged by typhoons.
Needless to say, it has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had.
Here are some scenic photos of the Bantayan island. The weather was not very forgiving until the very last day so the majority of the photos are probably taken on the very last day…
All photos are taken with my iPhone 5 (I’m in desperate need of switching my phone!) so the quality may not be similar to my usual photos, but still please enjoy!
And… I’ll be uploading more photos of my travels soon… hopefully.
