Last year around June, I had the opportunity to travel to Morrocco. Going to Morrocco has always been on my bucket list, and the place really exceeded my expectations. The friendly people, amazing food, and overall atmosphere gave me a lasting impression and the longing to go back again.
My first stop was Marrakesh, one of the most visited cities in Morocco, and it won me over the moment I entered Jemaa el-Fnaa square. The rattlesnakes and the snake charmers, orange juice stands, ginger buildings and herb shops were all very exotic and new to me. It was a city unlike any places I’ve visited before and I couldn’t wait to explore the place.
There aren’t many active activities you can do here in Marakkesh, but you can do plenty of sightseeing, trying out fresh food the stalls and restaurants offer, and sipping some Moroccan mint tea. Also, for those who want to go on Sahara expedition, there are many agencies in Marakkesh that offer such activity. More on that in a future post.
Here are some photos I took in Marrakesh. Enjoy!

Another thing I adored about Morocco is the many cats living here. I’ve dedicated an entire post on cats in Morocco. Click here for more. ;)
