A couple of years ago our family stumbled upon a small fruit stall next to a busy road. They sold peaches there so our family decided to have a go. It was the best peaches we have ever tasted, and since then, that place became our go-to place for some amazing peaches.
This year right when the peach season began, our family decided to go there again. It is roughly a two-hour drive to get to the peach stall but when we got there, the place was closed for the day. It’s a long drive to get there from Seoul so we decided to call the cell phone number written on the wall next to the fruit stall. Luckily, the owner picked up and asked us to go to his family peach farm to pick our own peaches.
It feels quite special. To have a ‘go-to’ place for a certain thing. More so when we formed a kind of bond with the owners- to know that the owners now know who we are and how much we appreciate their effort.
Here are some photos from the day we went to buy those delicious peaches. Time and time again I am reminded of the wonderful hospitality displayed by people here in Korea. I am a bit hesitant to admit it, but people here are really growing on me.

By the way, I am going to Taiwan! It’s been two years since the last time I was there, and I cannot wait to share the wonderful food I get to eat! Till next time.
