I haven’t written in a while. The truth is, the identity of my blog is (kind of) in a crisis. I started off writing and photographing about traveling which I love immensely, and then the blog deviated away from that to focus on movies, personal opinions on current issues, and a bunch of other stuff. It became more of a space for me to collect my thoughts, jot down memories, and promise on long-overdue travel posts.
As for my life, I’ve been quite busy, and this post is here to tell you what I’ve been doing.
I’m currently running a small business where I sell handmade polymer clay earrings. I saw that this was a thing (a huge thing, actually) in countries like the US, Canada, parts of Europe, and Singapore. There’s a big community full of talented women managing their businesses while selling the beautiful art they’ve created. I was very inspired by the scene.
So I jumped in. There isn’t a community here in Korea but I thought I’d start one. After all, the earrings were gorgeous and such statement pieces. I also enjoy wearing earrings so why not?
The business name I came up with for my earrings business is called Juno & Tani. It’s a celebration of women and emphasizes the empowerment of women. Wearing the pieces has certainly made me feel beautiful, but more than that running my own small business and getting the praises for it has truly empowered me. It’s a terrifying feat but I am proud.
Here’s a collection of some of the earrings I’ve made. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and am excited about the journey I will continue with polymer clay.
